Odisha Bags Rs. 1712.48 Cr. GST Collection During Feb 2023

Bhubaneswar: The State has recorded a growth of 40% in GST collection (OGST + IGST Settlement) during February 2023 of the current Financial Year with a collection of Rs. 1712.48 Cr against Rs. 1223.22 Cr during February 2022 as per the press release by the Commissionerate of CT & GST.

Out of the above, the OGST Collection is Rs. 1205.89 Cr during February 2023. The progressive collection of OGST of the State till February 2023 is Rs. 12779.00 Cr against Rs. 11391.76 Cr with a growth rate of 12.18%.

The State has also recorded a growth of 10.19% in Gross GST with a collection of Rs. 4519.35 Cr during February 2023 against Rs. 4101.49 Cr during February 2022. It is noteworthy to mention that that the Gross collection of Rs. 4519.35 Cr during Feb ‘23 is the second highest Gross collection of all time.

There has also been a growth in collection VAT from Petrol & Liquor with Rs. 1055.27 Cr collected during February 2023 as against Rs.835.52 Cr collected during February 2022 with a growth rate of 26.30%.
