Odisha Records Temperature Above 40 Degree Celsius

Bhubaneswar: Heatwave continued to prevail in several parts of Odisha with temperature crossing the 40 degree Celsius mark in five places of the state on Sunday.

According to the Bhubaneswar-based regional Meteorological Department, Titlagarh registered highest temperature with 42 degree Celsius of the day.

The other four places crossed the 40 degree Celsius mark are Talcher (40.6 degree C), Malkangiri (41 degree C), Angul (40.1 degree C) and Balangir (40 degree C).

Cuttack witnessed a maximum temperature of 37.6 degree Celsius while the state capital city sizzled at 36.7 degree Celsius.
