It Happens In Odisha: Two School Students Injured As Plaster Fall Off Ceiling

Jharsuguda: During Vacation, No actions has been taken by Government for the improvement of building, water and sanitation systems in schools. As a result, when schools open, attract media to promote poor conditions. On Mon day Two students of an elementary school sustained injuries after chunks of ceiling plaster fell on them in classroom here in Jharsuguda district today.

The injured students were identified as Bulu Tihiria and Raju Gadwal. Both are the class 5 students of Jamagaon Primary School. 

They were admitted to the Lakhanpur Community Health Centre for treatment.

According to reports, a big patch of plaster fell off the ceiling on two students while they were in the classroom.

The incident indicates the poor infrastructure in state-run elementary schools in remote areas of Odisha.
