Woman Teacher Stabbed By Student Inside Classroom

Haryana: A woman teacher of a private school in Sonipat, Haryana, was allegedly stabbed inside a classroom on Monday for scolding a student for not completing his holiday homework. She has been referred to Khanpur medical college for treatment.
Ms. Mukesh, an English teacher at a senior secondary school was asking the Class XI students about their holiday homework on Monday, when one of them attacked her with a sharp-edged weapon. The student allegedly stabbed the teacher three times in her abdomen.
The schools in the State had opened today after over a month long summer vacations.
The teacher was taken to civil hospital and then taken to the medical college in Khanpur after receiving first-aid.
