Modi Bats For A New Kashmir

Mumbai: On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said  that there was need to make a new Kashmir. Earlier the slogan was ‘Kashmir Humara Hai’. Now we must work towards a new slogan, ‘Naya Kashmir Banana Hai’. A lot of efforts were being made from across the border to foment violence in Jammu and Kashmir. 

He was speaking at a public rally ahead of the next month Maharashtra Assembly elections.

He said the first 100 days of the government had given promise, performance and delivery and a clear picture of what’s to come for the next five years.
In a veiled reference to Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, he said, Of late, there have been many ‘Bayan Bahadur’ making statements over the construction of a Ram temple. I don’t know why people are making these statements when the matter is in the Supreme Court. I request all, for Lord Ram’s sake, that they have faith in our judiciary.

The Prime Minister said bulletproof jackets made in India were being exported to over 100 countries.

Mr. Modi spoke about Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis government, saying crores of people blessed Mr. Fadnavis in his 4,000-km State-wide tour. The people have decided to bless only those who would work as per their expectations. Mr. Fadnavis had given a stable government despite the BJP not having full majority.

Cattle don’t vote, Mr. Modi said to criticism that his government’s programme to vaccinate 50 crore livestock is a political move.

The national animal disease control programme was aimed at eradicating the foot and mouth disease and brucellosis in livestock and vaccinating over 50 crore livestock, including cattle, buffalo, sheep, goats and pigs against the disease.
