Bhubaneswar: Expelled BJD leader Damodar Rout once again slammed Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and accused him of making corruption a policy in functioning of the government here.

“The CM has proved that he changes stand to bail out of several situations. Naveen has adopted corruption as a policy as when his ministers spoke about corruption, he termed such allegations as baseless. Even I was also shown the door,” said Rout.

Rout further alleged that CM Naveen Patnaik had inaugurated Seashore chit fund firm’s TV channel and was also seen with several persons who have links with Black Rose ship.

The former minister also targeted Odisha government for suppressing the Kunduli gang rape incident which had sparked a public outcry across the State.

“We had thrown government out of power in Anjana Mishra gang rape case. Odihsa government left no stone unturned to suppress the Kunduli incident. What the chief minister has done when rape cases are being reported every day in the State,” questioned Rout.
