FIR Lodged Against Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan And Nirvaan

Bollywood actors Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and the latter's son Nirvaan have been booked by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for violating COVID-19 norms. They were asked to quarentine in a hotel after returned from UAE on December 25. However, they decided to head home and skipped isolation. According to the reports, the FIR has been lodged under Section 188 IPC under 3 of Epidemic Diseases Act by a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) medical officer.
Report says, The Khans returned from their family vacation to Dubai as Sohail's wife Seema Khan has been sharing glimpses of the same on her social media account. For those unversed, amid fears of the spread of a new strain of coronavirus, the civic body has beefed up its defenses. The state government recently announced mandatory seven-day institutional quarantine for passengers arriving from the Middle East and Europe as a precautionary step amid growing concerns over a new coronavirus variant.
Earlier, cricketer Suresh Raina, singer Guru Randhawa, interior designer Sussanne Khan along with a couple of other celebrities were booked during a raid at Dragon Fly club near Mumbai airport. The accused were booked for violating COVID norms. The police action came after the Maharashtra government declared a night curfew in municipal corporation areas.
