Woman Found Dead In Car In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The body of a woman was found in a Tata Safari car parked near Hanuman Mandir in Sriram Nagar under Lingaraj police limits here under mysterious circumstances this morning.
Report says, identity of the deceased is yet to be known. Initially locals spotted the body at the front seat of the vehicle bearing registration number – OR 02AM 2600 and informed the police.
After getting information, Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Kumar Sahu along with a scientific team rushed to the spot and started investigation.
Mobile phone, some documents, clothes and photos were also seized from the car.
The car, which has been damaged on right of the front side, is registered in the name of a private company SR Carriers, said sources.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that the car met with an accident as there are skid marks on the road. The identity of the woman is yet to be established. However, after thorough probe, the reason behind the incident will be known,” informed Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Kumar Sahu.
