Odisha Teachers Are Shameless, Will Observe Sept 5 As Black Day

Bhubaneswar: Every time they gather here during Assembly session, get assurance from Naveen Govt. and went back. This events happen several times but no impact on Teachers who are staging protest under the banner of Odisha School College Teachers’ and Employee’s United Forum. Shamelessly they have announced to observe the Teachers’ Day on September 5 as Black Day.
The teachers’ body has also decided to shut down schools and colleges from September 6 onwards if their demands are not fulfilled by the State Government.
The teachers are on an indefinite strike at Mahatma Gandhi Marg here since August 16. They are seeking revision in the newly implemented grant-in-aid system which the State Government introduced after abolishing the block grant system in October, last year.
